New Xpeng P7 Electric Vehicle Launched
Xpeng Motors is preparing to launch the new electric sedan P7, which is expected to be launched this year, with a bold redesign, equipped with Xpeng's latest AI driving system, and a maximum range of up to 820 kilometers (CLTC).

The interior adopts Xpeng's latest design language, especially the new flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel and large floating central display. Dual wireless mobile phone chargers are integrated into the front console, and front passengers can enjoy sporty integrated bucket seats. The gear lever has also been changed to a steering column design.

Compared with the current P7i, the upgraded P7 has a more angular design, with a smoother coupe-style body contour, hidden door handles, frameless windows and fastback body. The front retains Xpeng's signature full-width LED daytime running lights, but introduces sharper headlight elements and a more aggressive bumper design. The rear echoes the front, with a continuous taillight bar and a retractable spoiler added to improve aerodynamics.

The car is 5,017 mm long, 1,970 mm wide, 1,427 mm high, and has a wheelbase of 3,008 mm. Compared with the current P7i, the upgraded model is longer and wider, but the body is slightly lower.

Powertrain options include single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive model is equipped with a 270-kW motor and offers two battery packs: a 74.9-kWh battery pack and a larger 92.2-kWh battery pack. Depending on the configuration, the CLTC range is 625 km to 820 km. The dual-motor configuration consists of a 167-kW front motor and a 270-kW rear motor.

A highlight of the new P7 is the integration of Xpeng Motors’ self-developed Turing AI chip, which is also used in the new Xpeng G7. The car uses a pure vision advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and supports city and highway navigation guided driving (NGP) functions - Xpeng Motors’ response to Tesla’s autopilot navigation system.
