As an important participant in the industry, Zhuzhou Yitongda has witnessed and promoted the vigorous development of Zhuzhou's used car export business. In November 2020, Zhuzhou successfully applied to be a national pilot city for used car exports. In January of the following year, the first batch of used cars exported from Hunan set off from Zhuzhou. In September 2024, the China (Zhuzhou) Yitongda Used Car Export Base was established. With Zhuzhou National High-tech Zone as the core, the base integrates local automobile inspection stations, maintenance and repair factories, parts suppliers, OEMs, used car dealers, 4S stores, logistics, finance and other upstream and downstream resources, and establishes Horgos and Kashgar port warehouses and overseas warehouses and overseas sales comprehensive service outlets in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, basically forming a comprehensive service system for the entire chain of used car exports.
A series of policy supports from the central, provincial and municipal governments, combined with Zhuzhou's local industrial advantages, have rapidly grown used car exports into a new highlight of Zhuzhou's foreign trade. The city's annual used car exports exceeded 2 billion yuan. As the operator of the China (Zhuzhou) Yitongda Used Car Export Base, Zhuzhou Yitongda is a leading used car export enterprise supported by the province and the city, and is also a key foreign trade enterprise in Zhuzhou. Previously, the company has established business contacts with many African countries such as Nigeria, Egypt, and Algeria. Its used cars have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions, with an export scale of more than 10,000 units. Recently, the company plans to invest in setting up an overseas warehouse for automobiles in Sierra Leone, which will radiate the entire West African market and further expand the scale of exports.
